The Ethos of KOSLUX
KOSLUX was born in the heart of Germany’s Black Forest, inspired by a mother’s quiet contemplation of love and nature.
I remember walking into the Black Forest with my son. Sunlight filtered through the fir branches and fell gently on his skin. He ran and laughed among the trees, while mushrooms and wild berries seemed to bloom beneath his curious gaze. The breath of leaves and stones tangled gently in his hair. In that moment, I understood: The bond between a child and nature is born before words ever arrive.
Our name, KOSLUX, carries this belief. KOS comes from the German word for “cosmos,” and LUX ，Latin for “light.” Each child is a unique light in the universe, born to shine in their own direction.
The love we give shall be like the morning light in the woods— soft, gentle, and quietly present, walking beside them every step of the way. Simple, yet luxurious. Pure, yet vibrant. Natural, yet meticulous. This love, rooted in reverence for life, is where KOSLUX began.
Since our founding in Germany in 2021, KOSLUX has been devoted to refining every detail of our clothing and accessories—
beginning with the finest natural materials: organic, sustainable, and kind to the earth. We honour the palette of the wild and the time true craftsmanship requires. With every gentle stitch, we grow slowly alongside children, preserving what is delicate in a fast-moving world: intuition, wonder, childhood.
This is more than just a style, it’s a way of seeing, living, loving and believing.
